Hello!
Thanks for visiting my page.
I’m taking on a challenge this month - 300,000 steps for September (10,000 a day).
It’s not a marathon, but for me it’s a big step up! I’m doubling my usual average step count. Some days I’ll do more, some less, all toward the total! 

I post this on September 10th, World Suicide Prevention Day. This is a cause close to my heart, having suffered with my own mental health during the pandemic. I’m fortunate to have received a lot of support over the past 5 years, and would like to give back in some small way.
I’ve taken a lot of steps since then,  retraining as a therapist and having the privilege of walking alongside others who are struggling. But if you’d told me back then I’d be here now, I’d never have believed you. 

So these 300,000 steps are for anyone out there who feels they have no more in them. There’s always another path to take, and I hope you stay. 

Please feel free to donate however much you can spare for this fab charity, who do fantastic work raising awareness around some of our most stigmatised mental health difficulties.
