I'm fundraising for Rethink Mental Illness!
As some of you reading may know, in 2019 I was affected by Psychosis. I was able to be cared for by my mother, however it was a difficult time for my close family.
We would have greatly benefited from the support and specialised care that Rethink offers those with severe mental illnesses (and the family support offered to carers too!). From local peer support groups to supported housing facilities, advocacy, and campaigns which work to end stigma and secure access to rights, the work of Rethink Mental Illness is incredibly valuable.

Monday 11th Aug Thanks to some wonderful friends and family I have already surpassed my fundraising target (and had to increase it!) twice(!) since last week.I went on my first 'proper' walk this morning before work, to get used to the new routine.
I think it'll be a fun challenge to see if I can meet the goal, and I'm very excited to find out how much we can raise together through September.
