My 20,000 for Mental Health!
Saturday 2nd AugThis September, I’m challenging myself to walk 20,000 steps throughout the month. But this isn’t just a fitness goal—it’s personal.
I live with mental health struggles every day. Some mornings, even getting out of bed can feel like a mountain to climb. But I’ve learned that movement, routine, and purpose can help especially when they’re tied to something that matters deeply to me.
So I’m walking for Rethink Mental Illness, a charity that supports people like me - people living with anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges that often go unseen. They do incredible work, from offering practical help to pushing for better care and understanding in our society.
This isn’t going to be easy. There will be tough days. But I’m doing this to show that even small steps especially when taken daily can make a difference. For our minds, our bodies, and for others who are struggling in silence.
If you’ve ever faced your own battles, or know someone who has, I hope you’ll support me. Whether it’s a donation, a message of encouragement, or simply sharing my journey, it all means the world.
