Fundraising

How much do I have to fundraise?

We ask all fundraisers participating in the event to pledge to raise a minimum of £2,000. You should aim to reach 50-75% before the event.

How much do I have to pay per place?

To secure your place you are required to pay a nonrefundable fee of £100.

How do I fundraise?

As part of the set-up process, you are automatically set up a fundraising page with us. You can share this online with friends and family and host in person events to contribute to your fundraising. We are always on hand to answer any questions, and will help you every step of the way.

I’m worried I won’t be able to raise £2000, what should I do?

Please get in contact with us via events@rethink.org and we will provide support and advise on next steps.

Registration

How do I know if I have a place?

Once you have paid your registration fee, you have a place in the event.

What happens if I can no longer take part?

You should let us know as soon as possible, so we can reallocate the place to another fundraiser. You can defer your place to the following year and roll over your fundraising (note you can only do this 1 year, and we cannot guarantee we will have places in subsequent years).

When do I get my place number?

Once the event console opens you will receive an email to complete your registration with Let’s Do This, when this is complete you will receive more information. There is a running show over a few days leading up to the London Marathon, and you must attend this to collect your bib.

I’ve received an email from Let’s Do This – Is this correct?

Let’s do this is the event console for the London Marathon, when the console opens you will receive with your registration link from them. We will email you to let you know when this is happening.
