Coming out of retirement - for charity!
To light to fire underneath me, and force me back in the pool, on September 20th, I am participating in the iconic Swim Serpentine to raise money for Rethink Mental Illness.
While this may be an ADHD fixation, I’ve signed up now! A 3km swim in the past might have been a breeze, but I will actually have to train for this one…
I’m asking if you could fuel my progress with anything you’ve got to give - even if not a donation, drop me a message to check I’m actually doing some training!!
The money raised is going towards Rethink mental illness, and they phrase the importance of raising money much better than I can:
“It is so important to have access to resources and support. That's why I am taking part in this event - to help Rethink Mental Illness continue its mission of improving the lives of those affected by severe mental health issues.
