Half marathon for Rethink Mental Illness! 12 April 2026
In 2024, I ran a wee 10k race in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival. Thanks to your contributions, we managed to raise £175!
For my next challenge, I am travelling down south to run in the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026. According to Google, that's 21.1 km so this time my goal is to raise £350.
WHO figures estimate that 970 million people have to cope with some kind of mental health disorder around the world and more than 700,000 people are victims of suicide.
Rethink Mental Illness is a charity that supports mental health patients by creating support groups, national awareness campaigns, providing mental health training and directly providing mental health services in England.
With your support, I am hoping to reduce those figures of totally preventable incidents.
