We are fundraising for Rethink Mental Illness!
Sheffield Musicians, Gloria Monday (Karen Hisom & Chris Rust) are fundraising for Rethink Mental Illness because of their brilliant focused work, for example the Sheffield Crisis House that gives intensive residential support to individuals who are in deep difficulty and need a way forward.
We are inspired by Hanna Macierewicz who had help from Rethink to turn her life round and went on to run her own fundraiser, including jumping out of an aeroplane.
As Hanna's mum, Karen also benefited greatly from Hanna having this support, whole families feel the relief when their loved one is getting help.
We run a monthly live music event in Sheffield, the venue, musicians and helpers all give their support free, all income goes to Rethink Mental Illness.
