This May, I am taking on 100 Miles in May for Rethink Mental Illness - a cause close to my heart!
It is so important to have access to resources and support. That's why I am taking part in this event - to help Rethink Mental Illness continue its mission of improving the lives of those affected by severe mental health issues.
Every donation counts towards my goal!
Your contribution will help provide vital services such as support groups, and educational resources for individuals and families affected by mental illness.
Together, we can make a difference. Every Mile Brings Hope

1st day 9 miles of the hundred in may
Thursday 1st May I'm extremely blessed to have had a few sessions provided to me of physio due to some difficult to diagnose u juries namely so last year I had 3 sessions of physio starting in July I could have been a misdiagnosis of a genetic reflex disorder yet due to my circumstances and hypervigilance I had just worn down all the muscles around my hips and my feet were complete ketchup and potentially toenails from too much sardines fault yet after 3 sessions I learnt to rest and more importantly a ratio which is every ten kilometres rest for 7 yet what many wouldn't understand would be the rest must include stretching and also movement (How to inepret your own personal cycles) regardless being g that I need 91 more miles over the next almost 30 days 9 x 11 = 99 right so more or less . So organising this spring month of May around (20 days of 5 more or less with a 9 and a 3 km) becomes more fun to spice it up with the weather. Consistently taking into consideration the importance of recovery namely active recovery and in the meantime whilst resting attempting to get extended family to share the co tent etc with others. Appreciate the the hard work Rethink as a non discriminatory organization provide and always advocate to others to take part in these campaigns as its just a matter of getting started and I will always accompany someone to get going for this good cause. Great work 👏 Share
