I'm fundraising for Rethink Mental Illness!

This May, I am taking on 100 Miles in May for Rethink Mental Illness - a cause close to my heart!

It is so important to have access to resources and support. That's why I am taking part in this event - to help Rethink Mental Illness continue its mission of improving the lives of those affected by severe mental health issues.

Every donation counts towards my goal!

Your contribution will help provide vital services such as support groups, and educational resources for individuals and families affected by mental illness.

Together, we can make a difference. Every Mile Brings Hope

My Updates

Almost half way there

Thursday 15th May
It's been a while since my last update but I'm happy to say I've still been actively looking for every mile. I currently use a u synced steps tracker app to track my miles and as I was unable to log in for a while I've had to manually update the page regarding my actual miles. Instead of putting in each walk separately I've decided to do one update as a bulk but it really took me over a week to get to these miles. Hope everyone is doing ok and getting the help they deserve

First rest day

Saturday 3rd May
After a very satisfying first day completing 10 miles in around 5 hours and yesterday doing a slightly more casual 2.5 miles, I feel a rest day is well deserved. I still have work later and being a Saturday night I'm sure I will need my energy. It's still good to try to get out every day so may log a short walk around the block as it dos wonders for my mental health. I find it hard feel trapped in my own home so it's always a nice escape.
Hope anyone reading this finds comfort in the fact that sometimes just staying alive is a victory won. Don't be too hard on urself if nothing seems to get done today, because everyone Is fighting their own battles and we should never judge or belittle someone else's journey.
Stay strong and keep on breathing
